Covid-19 EPC Policy - March 11, 2020.
The EPC Board of Directors is very aware that the Covid 19 outbreak is a world wide concern for all.
The EPC Board of Directors is relying on Alberta Health Services authorities to advise whether indoor assemblies such as indoor Pickleball play should proceed and, as yet, the direction to suspend all indoor assembly related activities has not been made.
Therefore, as an EPC member, you need to make your own decisions about participation at indoor Pickleball sessions or tournaments taking into account your own medical conditions and circumstances.
We all need to take personal responsibility to help reduce the risk of further spread of this virus. Each of us needs to do a personal symptom check-up daily. If you have any symptoms of the Covid19, the flu or even the common cold, please cancel your PB session attendance until your symptoms pass.
At EPC indoor Pickleball events at Riverbend Junior High, Parkview Junior High School and at Westmount Fitness Club, the club will provide Clorox (and the like) wipes and all players must wipe their hands at the beginning of the session before they enter the court and must again wipe their hands when they leave the session.
Compliance to this EPC protocol is required and not negotiable.
Going forward, if conditions and circumstances change, Edmonton Pickleball Club will make all necessary changes to our protocols.
