2019 MEMBERSHIPS

Starting November 1, Renewals and New Memberships will be available online only via this website.  All 2018 Annual Memberships expire December 31 and the new Memberships will be valid until year-end 2019 (14 months from November 1). 
ALL MEMBERSHIP CARDS WILL BE E-CARDS ONLY, SO NO MORE CANADA POST MAIL OUTS. MORE DETAILS HERE.

Please renew early and you will not receive anymore reminders after November 1.

WINTER INDOOR TOURNAMENTS

Most Pickleball Tournaments occur in the summer or in Snowbird Country in the winter but now we have a few close to home.

  • The Paddle Room Year End Tournament takes place December 15 & 16 Saturday & Sunday in St. Albert.  Open to Paddle Room members and non-members.  Click here for  DETAILS.
  • The Royal Glenora Club presents the Edmonton Pickleball Club's WINTER CLASSIC on December 28-29-30 Friday to Sunday in Edmonton. Registration is now full at 234 players but a Wait List is open until December 21.  This exciting event will be played on 12 courts at the Royal Glenora Club and is open to spectators.  More details at  pickleballtournaments.com

NEW INDOOR PLAYING SITES

We now have some opportunities this winter for indoor play besides the City Recreation Centres. Members only can join various announced events to play Indoors.  Check out our Newsletters by using the NEWS Tab above.

EPC - 2018 Annual General Meeting

On Thursday, December 6 the AGM attracted 35 members who enjoyed both the meeting and the social with snacks and refreshments.The 2018 Board of Directors: Tom Sperling. Ray Richards, Wendy Schilling. Helen Thomson, Doug Bowers, Carol Salisny, Ran Newby & (absent) Glenn Vickers.
The 2019 Board of Directors: Tom, Doug & Carol are replaced by (from right) Adele Thomson, Richard Van Soest, Roxanne Garneau, & (on left) Nicole Carter.

On Wednesday, October 31, EPC members Wendy Schilling and Frieda Van Herck presented ALS Society Coordinator of Fundraising and Events, Sonja Nguyen with a cheque from the Edmonton Pickleball Club for $1,240.00. This was the amount raised at our 2018 September Fall Social.  Thank you everyone for your generosity.


Outdoor Play at: Royal Gardens Community League Courts 4030-117 Street NW, Edmonton.

OUTDOOR COURTS  CLOSED TUESDAY OCTOBER 30  FOR THE SEASON.

Indoor Play: Many members meet at Terwillegar Community Recreation Center 2051 Leger Road NW, Edmonton. Pickleball is also played at 4 other City Rec Centres.
